Assignments

  1. Conduct your Market Research and prepare a brief document (2-3 pages) that summarizes your findings. Specifically the document should include:

    • a description, numbers of your target market, and your geographic focus
    • market demands and market share
    • identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges
    • service and/or product pricing
    • distribution channels, including how you will position your product/services

  2. Develop a first draft of a marketing plan and write out some ideas for promotional materials. Please use the Marketing Plan Outline (.doc) as a guide for preparing your Marketing Plan.

When you have completed these assignments, please discuss them with your technology transfer center officer and other content experts for feedback and comments.
